Encouragement

I stood there in the kitchen in front of my coffee pot, elbows on the counter, 9:00 am one Monday morning...thinking I can't do this...

this  homeschooling thing we do everyday...

We all get weary, burned out, doubt our effectiveness, no matter what job we find ourselves doing in this life.  This is where I have been lately. 

I raced out at lunchtime to pick up Doodlebug from preschool and pick up lunch when I called a friend.  She encouraged me.

Don't try to do this life alone...God does not ask nor want us to be independent beings.  He has called us to support and encourage one another. 

Thank you sweet friend for lifting my head that day and helping me to see what I couldn't see on my own. 

That afternoon I came outside to find "M" and J man had built this fort!  It made me smile...that they have time to do this crazy, creative stuff! I sent my friend the picture of the "fort" ... she replied, "See they are just practicing their engineering skills!"

 

Take time today to encourage someone!  We all need it!
